clementine was getting ready for a night out. no, it's not what you think. it wasn't her usual half or all night tour of the town with friends, taxis, and illegal friends. no, she was a changed woman now. she wouldn't even be going out if it weren't for dakota insisting that she do something else besides worry over his recovery from a hit and run. it took a while for dakota to win his argument against her, clem was extremely stubborn but it turns out dakota could be too.
music was playing in the background in her dorm as she smoked a quick cigarette by the open window. she could hear one of the volunteers outside in the hall vacuuming. what a noise, back home the maids had these silent vacuums. she tossed the cigarette away. "Okay, that was my last cigarette forever." she declared, tossing away the empty pack in the garbage. she was clean for now on, her relationship with dakota depended on it. taking her purse, she got a burned cd dakota gave her to listen to on the way to the restuarant. but she dropped it, it rolled out of the door and in front of the vacuum.

The girl in the bold cherry shirt stepped out of her room. Adrian was too distracted by her face to see the cd that had fallen in front of the vacuum. It was so loud, he hadnt heard it fall either. Adrian didnt realize he was staring until the vacuum choked and spluttered before sighing to a stop. Blinking, he looked down at the vacuum finally, eyes widening as he saw the smoking body and mangled cd. "Shit!" he exclaimed under his breath, promptly ripping the cord out of the outlet and bending to check out the damage. "Ohh... Im... sorry about your cd" he picked it up, grimacing at his reflection in the severely scratched disc. Adrian stood back up "Let me replace it for you," he was already insisting, "My names Adrian" he grinned his signature grin and stuck out his free hand. "And Im a clutz. Im also good at making mix tapes." he winked. Adrian was a naturally happy and friendly person, but when he saw a pretty girl he couldnt resist a little harmless flirting.

Drawing looks from boys was nothing new for Clem and she didn't consider herself vain for knowing how she effected many boys. Hell, she even abused it at times. She liked drawing looks of admiration, what girl WOULDN'T like that? But it rarely caused bad things to happen, like a beat up disc. "Oh no." she said when she saw the damage.
The boy with a very handsomely structured face observed the cd. "Oh, you didn't mean it." she replied, still a little disappointed. 'Let me replace it for you.' Well, this boy almost seemed to set himself up, I mean he might as well have a cute little golden retriever puppy and tell her about how he rescued it from an early death or something. But hey, Clem wasn't disliking this attention. My name is Adrian. He grinned, she liked the grin. He was nice and he winked. What a flirt! Clem loved him already.
Smiling back she said "Well Andrian, I'm Clementine and I really need another mix tape. That one was really my friend's and I'm supposed to bring it back to her. Know how to work an apple laptop?" She gestured kindly to the small smooth laptop that laid on her desk. It was a new system she had her parents buy her. [/blockquote]

Clementine with the apple laptop and the cherry shirt. Adrian was seeing a theme. He loved it. "Of course," he retorted in a mock scoffing tone. "Lets see what we can do." Adrian abandoned the vacuum in the middle of the hallway, completely forgetting it as he followed Clem into her room. Adrian was a little envious of the shiny new computer that practically twinkled tauntingly at him. Adrian came from a big family, so hand-me-downs had had to be good enough. All the time. Being one of the youngest sucked. The rest of his siblings had all grown up and moved on, except his 28 year old brother who was currently residing in their basement. Santi totally just pulled this out of her rear end and it doesnt go with her application at all but who cares? So anyways, the laptop did flare up that familiar faint jealous feeling. But enough with alliteration. He was more distracted by the beautiful blonde girl he was teasing. With an inconspicuous flex of his muscles he welcomed himself to the chair at the desk. "Do you have a blank cd my dear?" he asked, grinning wolfishly - no pun intended - up at Clementine.

"Good then, I hate it when people aren't computer saavy. It's a drag having to explain every button to them." she said, following him back into her room. It wasn't that Clem was particularly materialistic... no, she was materialistic. She liked nice and expensive things. She was the school's rich girl and she loved that title her parents earned her. The room stored alot of clothes that were always coming out of the drawers and closets, a few small piles littered the floor. Not all the mess was hers, she had help from her room mate of course.
"Don't step on any shoes, it's a mess in here... Sure, here you go." she drew a blank disc from a desk drawer. She liked Andrian, the light color skin and short hair cut. "You'll see the playlist under 'on the go'." she pointed out as she sat down at the end of her bed. "So, you volunteer? Maybe you can clean my room too." she joked.

Adrian chuckled warmly at her shoe joke, "I'll try, dont worry." he took her cd, wiggling his eyebrows at her. "on the go, got it" he repeated, opening up the music program and easily. In a few simple clicks he had the program burning the music onto the disk. While he waited he looked over at her and grinned again. "No no, I dont think you understand. I volunteer because i get something out of it. In this case, community service for graduation. What would i get out of cleaning your room?" Adrian asked with a smirk.

He was goofy and she liked that. He was going to be fun, interesting and entertaining. All that she was needing with her new clean lifestyle that was so far a dull time. "Nice." she smiled when the computer began to burn the cd. He smirked. "I guess nothing. It's disappointing though- I assumed you were vacuuming the hallway from the goodness of your heart." she teased. She ran a hand through her hair. "You go to St. Isleng High? It must be very different from this place." [/blockquote]
