Its not really an emo thing, she's just timid and has had some bad experiences so she's untrusting of anyone in her life right now. Sometimes this causes her to come off as snobbish or stupid, or whatever other assumption fellow hormonal teens can make from complete silence and isolation. But deep down Charlie is one of the ncest girls you could meet.

what they see[/font] When someone first sees Charlie Louise, they might think an angel has just enterred the vicinity. With her flowing blonde hair and twinkling blue eyes along with her height, she definitely could definitely be mistaken for something celestial if the light hits her just right. Then that half a second is over and from there on out its based on the person. Some think shes a snobby stuck up rich girl who's just there because her parents died. Others think she might be mute. Yet there are some who think she has a serious mental problem and just hates the world. Almost like an extreme emo kid minus the outward appearances. Being the new kid on the block, no one has really gotten to know Charlotte for who she really is yet. And maybe Charlie doesnt even know who that is yet either.

Much of Charlottes entire life is a blur. And a mystery. And a mess. She was born on Valentine's Day to a grieving father and a deceased mother. Charlie was lucky to be alive after some birth complications. From then she was raised by her constantly busy father. Or, rather, she was raised by day cares and school teachers and herself while her father was away on endless business. She didnt know her father very well in the time he was alive. he didnt show up a lot in her life except in letters and christmas and birthday presents. She never got a lot of gifts so one could never say she was spoiled per se, but the gifts she did recieve were good ones, as if her father wanted to make up for being emotionally unable to exist with spitting image of his dead wife his entire life with diamond rings on her sixteenth birthday, a fancy doll when she little, even a real silver locket that she still keeps with her constantly.
Charlie grew up knowing she was different from the other kids around her. They had families... she didnt really. But she was a smart kid, she got good grades and didnt do drugs. She had to take anti depressants and sleep medication but that didnt count.
After her father killed in a construction accident when one of his new buildings collapsed unexpectedly, she tried to off herself by downing the rest of her antidepressants and sleep meds together. Luckily someone found her and they were able to pump her stomach before she actually died.
Now not even she is sure, but its quite possible there was some damage done to her mind what with her history and the drugs in her system. She relies on medication still, and constantly feels like the walls ar eclosing in and she doesnt know herself. The poor girl needs some help. Which is why shes here.
