Despite her dark past, Lizzie is a quirky, random person. She is very curious. She is a little bit of a daredevil, and refuses to associate with pansies. Lizzie is very impulsive, and doesn't give any of her dicisions a second thought. She is strange and for the most part, fun, and doesn't care what anybody else thinks about herself. However, when the shadows appear, her mood changes drastically, into constant fear and anxiety. Lizzie is unable to focus, and hates herself for falling victim to something that isn't even real. She distances herself from people, not wanting anybody to see her in a vulnerable state. Her friends and her only current loving family member are her life.

When Lizzie isn't being tormented by shadows, she tries to enjoy every little blade of grass, every little beam of sunshine, every little aspect of her life that isn't wasted in terror. Being the impulsive person she is, she doesn't pay much attention to detail.

After the day of the mysterious disapperance of Trevor, when Lizzie was accused of murder, every loving family member basically disowned her and sent her away. The only person who tried to stay in contact was her sister, Georgia.

Lizzie's life remained normal up until October 12th. She was never popular, and only stayed close to 1 or 2 friends throughout her childhood years.
October 12th was a night that was wonderful, and tragic. She was to go on her first date with Trevor, a beautiful man she had been crushing on since the 7th grade. The cool October night began beautifully. Lizzie remembered having a picnic with him by the beach, and when they were finished he chased her through the forest nearby. They found an old, abondoned shack, and she remembered nothing after going inside. When she awoke in the hospital, she was informed that Trevor had been burned alive inside the shack. Ever since that night, she had seen the shadows. They followed her wherever she went, and nothing could make them stop.
