Charlotte's face lit up. "I know him!" she grinned. "Well sort of... I met him the other day... he was playing in the dorms and we sang a song together. He's nice..." Now Charlie was starting to wonder why she hadnt met Dallas before. But she also knew that even she could be pretty evasive and low key when she wanted. Maybe they were similar in that sense. What else would they have in common? Charlotte found herself excited to get to know Dallas better, because so far, they had several similarities. What would their differences be? What would the future hold for the two suicidal kids hiding in the background? "So what do you do in the band?" she asked curiously. Yet again, another similarity - they were both musicians. Charlotte was officially fascinated.

Her face just beamed at the mention of Blaze. He's nice. "Yeah, he is. One of the nicest guys around. And you two singing together sort of already makes you a bandmember." he said happily. The conversation was picking up to a more light-hearted, happy direction. Just what he needed in the void Dallas was stuck in. "I play the guitar... electric and acoustic. What do you play?" he asked, genuinely growing more adn more interested in her. [/blockquote]

"Ohh neat" Charlotte said sincerely "I kind of want to play guitar... i think it looks fun. But I play piano," she replied in answer to his question. "And I sing," They were the two most important things in her life pretty much. Friends were important too but she hadn't really met a whole lot of people that she valued more than her music. Just the close ones, like Dylan, and she definitely counted Dallas under this group, even though they'd only recently met.
