personality Dakota is confusing. He's more than confusing - he's pretty much mixed up all together. He's one in a million, different from the rest. And Dakota likes it that way. Lets get on with this, shall we? Well, for one Dakota is a sweetheart. Either when he's with a pretty girl, or a best friend, he's always sweet. He loves when he meets new people, so he can show just how kind he is in every way possible. Dakota loves gaining new friends. Whether a friend lost control, or a stranger is crying on the street, Dakota is always there. Call him at three in the morning, asking for assistance home, he will come and help. Dakota is not a doormat, he just likes to be nice because he believes it brings out the best in people. Speaking of doormat, loads of people try to step on Dakota everyday. They see him as a sweet, nothing-to-lose kid that they can just walk all over. Well, believe it or not but Dakota has sense of control over what he does, and who he meets. He will never let it be possible to ruin his time. Dakota may meet new people, and love it at the same time, but he always has to see if they are worth it. Dakota has spent too much time on people who didn't deserve it. And if you deserve Dakota's time, you will know.
Dakota is a writer. He's intense because of all the useless and useful thoughts floating around in that head of his. Because of past experience, and fear of the future, Dakota is now a walking therapy session. Dakota doesn't really enjoy being confusing, because his feelings get mixed and sometimes he has these little breakdowns. Dakota likes to come off as simple so others don't get frustrated with him and leave. A lot of people think they've discovered the "real" Dakota because his outside is so thick, people like to think it's his inside too. But it's not, and no one at all knows the inside Dakota. But Dakota is real. Even though hardly anyone has discovered some of the things inside, he still likes to act the way he wants and believes. Dakota dislikes a lot of things that have relations with drugs, alcohol or sex. He's not innocent when it comes to these things, but because of the past he keeps his distance.
Dakota is honest, yet sarcastic. Everyone usually sees the nice, loving, caring side of Dakota but there is a dark side as well. A side that Dakota loses himself in. He likes to call that side the Ryan side. When it comes out, he acts different, and sometimes even looks different. Dakota knows he's crazy, and this whole mess really freaks him out. But when Ryan comes out, he gets wild. He turns into a witty, sarcastic bitch and is a flirting machine and hates writing. It's when Dakota gets bored, and has the option of being another person. He hates it, but he loves his two personalities, yet he can get too crazy in a little amount of time. And its also because his twin will a part of him forever. Over all the craziness, the intensity, the confusion, Dakota is a lover. His heart is bigger than his head, and he doesn't deal with the pain. Dakota strives for happiness for himself, because he believes if he's happy, then so is everyone else. People call him selfish, but Dakota is far from it. He knows you can't really trust anyone at all, and the only person you can trust is yourself. Dakota is weird, funny, sarcastic, and a different person all in one.

daydreams to have a wonderful life with clementine (marriage, kids, etc.), writing great and widely praised novels, seeing everyone happy.
secrets dakota has been to juvie, and he has had relations with a teacher for a while.
what they see dakota has long chesnut-colored hair, naturally straight, always clean and always in his face. dakota's eyes range, but are usually emerald green with gold flecks. dakota comes in at 5"8 and 135 lbs. he's pretty small, but still has his regular muscles. dakota's face is smooth, his smile always brightened by his milky-white teeth. dakota's jawline and his collarbones are probably his best features, in dakota's opinion. when it comes to style, dakota usually leans towards the comfortable side: hoodies, straight leg/skinny jeans, slip ons, v-necks, vests, graphic t's, plain t's, and beanies are dakota's favorites.

description Lynne Jamison was a senior in high school when she was first pregnated by Douglas Kendall. Lynne was quite afraid of her future - strapped down with a kid in a low class apartment on the bad side of town. No, that wouldn't be her future, she decided. She was going to give the baby up for adoption once it was born. Nine months later, Lynne gave birth to twins, and refused to give the babies up to the couple that was willing to take them both. Lynne named one Ryan Leigh Kendall, a healthy baby boy with pale skin and brown eyes. And the other, odd enough, had beautiful emerald eyes - odd since both parents had brown eyes - and named him Dakota Easton Kendall. Douglas asked Lynne to marry him, and she agreed. Soon, they were married and Lynne's mother bought them an apartment not far from her mother's home. They settled in with their brand new pair of boys, ready to start their life together.
Dakota and Ryan's childhood was as normal as it could get. Light up Barney shoes, Sesame Street wallpaper, loads of Tonka Truck toys and of course, learning how to play baseball with their father. The twins did everything together, isolating themselves from other kids. Lynne was worried, and seperated the two, sending them to two different schools. Dakota and Ryan were forced into the rich life of the two different schools and making new friends. But tragedy struck when both came home to find no mother, just a note. A note that read she was off to Los Angeles to pursue her dream as an actress. Just two months later after her leaving, their father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Dakota didn't think it could get any worse. A month after the twins' 14th birthday, Douglas was driving them to the same high school when they were struck by another car. The wreck was intense, killing Ryan instantly and landing Dakota and Douglas in the intensive care unit in the hospital. Dakota blamed himself for Ryan's death, and at that time, he became very depressed. He started to write poetry, and soon started to isolate himself in school.
Everyone knows Dakota Sharpe, because of his mother, who has become the biggest movie star in Hollywood, Lynne Jamison. But she claims she had no children, and didn't even send anything back home when she got the news of Ryan's death. It engraged Dakota, and he began to start writing stories to get his feelings out. His creative writing teacher read over his work and told him he could have a career. Dakota's love for writing increased once more from good comments on his work, and soon his future consisted of becoming know as much as his mother for being truthful. Dakota became a school journalist for his school paper and soon he was known around the school for his writing, and not because he was a super star's neglected son. Some of his work was even published in the New York Times Freepress newspaper and his mother saw it. Lynne came back, and asked for Dakota to spend a summer and a school year with her in LA, and at first Dakota refused, but Douglas insisted he go because her offer was a only once in a lifetime chance.
Dakota was 16 when he moved to Los Angeles with his mother. Over the summer, he met all sorts of different people, and even made some friends that attend the private school he'd be attending. Dakota even started to write a book during his time there, and soon the school year had began. On his first day, Dakota was intrigued by a teacher by the name of Alice Hixson. Dakota started to get feelings he's never had before. Everytime she would speak, Dakota would get butterflies in his belly. He couldn't take these feelings anymore, and started to write little notes and poems for her and gave them to her anonymously. Eventually Alice wanted to find the "man" who had been sending her these letters and wrote an artical for the newspaper to send out. Dakota knew it was his chance, but was afraid of revealing himself. But Alice asked for the guy to meet her in the park, and Dakota stood there forever, watching Alice look around for her admirer. He gathered up his nerves and told Alice is was him who wrote everything, and at first Alice refused to let him be the guy who wrote her the sweet notes and poems, and also because of his age. But Dakota confessed his feelings and said he meant everything he wrote, and Alice finally gave in.
Being with Alice was amazing, always watching her in school and touching her after. Dakota fell in love quickly, falling head over heels for her. For once, life was great because of her. Alice took all his pain away from his father's diagnos and his brother's death. But Alice was too wild for little innocent Dakota, and he wanted to keep up with her. She first introduced him to pot, alcohol, and sex. He lost his virginity to her, and got high and drunk with her all the time. It got so bad that the two would get drunk before school started. It was a month before school was ending was when it all came crashing. A student reported Alice coming to school drunk and high most of the time and was arrested. The police came crashing in when Dakota and Alice were smoking pot, and Dakota freaked out when they grabbed Alice and put handcuffs on her. Dakota tried to get her out of them, and the police officers had to fight him off. Dakota punched one in the face and was tased.
Alice was sentenced to jail and Dakota was sent to juvie for four months. In juvie, Dakota wrote to Alice in jail and told her whenever he got out, he would save her. Alice wrote back, telling him he couldn't do anything about her anymore, and he needed to forget. But Dakota refused - he was too in love with her to forget about her for a second. So he kept writing. Soon, Dakota was released and Alice received the news. The whole deal between the two was known all over the nation and Dakota was known for the wrong things. Alice called Dakota and told him it was over, she didn't need him to write to her anymore because she didn't love him anymore. It broke Dakota's heart and he wouldn't stop trying to get her back. But Alice started to ignore him and Dakota stopped writing for a long time. Dakota's father died of his lung cancer after Dakota's 17th birthday, and Dakota was shipped off to St. Isleng, where he knows life will be hell.
